Medai assistant - Full Time
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Media Assistant to oversee all aspects of our church's media ministry. This role will focus on social media management, content creation, and video production, ensuring that Perry Hall Family Worship Center message is creatively and effectively communicated across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a deep understanding of digital media trends, and experience in creating engaging content that resonates with a diverse audience.
Starting Salary: 60,000
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to engage and grow Perry Hall Family Worship Center's online community.
Manage and curate content across all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.), ensuring brand consistency and engagement.
Monitor social media trends and adjust strategies to stay current and relevant.
Engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster an interactive and positive online community.
Content Creation
Create high-quality, compelling digital content (images, graphics, posts, stories, blogs, etc.) that aligns with Perry Hall Family Worship Center's values and mission.
Collaborate with pastoral and ministry teams to develop content supporting church services, events, and programs.
Develop creative concepts and campaigns to increase engagement and attendance both online and in person.
Video Production
Lead and oversee all video projects, including sermon recordings, promotional videos, worship experiences, and special events.
Manage the entire video production process—from pre-production (concept, scriptwriting, planning) to post-production (editing, sound, and delivery).
Ensure that all video content is high-quality, visually engaging, and effectively communicates the church’s message.
Brand Consistency
Ensure all media content reflects Perry Hall Family Worship Center's brand, vision, and values.
Collaborate with ministry leaders and staff to align messaging and promote church initiatives.
Team Collaboration
Lead and manage the media team, volunteers, and contractors to execute high-quality projects.
Work closely with Marketing/Communications and Creative teams to coordinate integrated campaigns and provide training for other campuses or ministries as needed.
Analytics and Reporting
Track, analyze, and report on media content and social media campaign performance.
Use insights and data to optimize and refine strategies continually.
Requirements:
Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Media Production, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and video production (preferably within a church or non-profit setting).
Proficiency with social media platforms, tools, and analytics.
Strong skills in video production tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) and creative software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
A heart for ministry and storytelling, and a passion for the church’s mission and vision.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with live streaming and church-related digital platforms (e.g., YouTube, Church Online Platform, Vimeo).
Experience in photography, graphic design, or other creative media skills.
Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
